Join us as a Senior Cybersecurity Sales Specialist. You will play a pivotal role in bridging technical expertise with customer needs, enriching the sales process with in-depth technical insights. You will also assist with trainings and cybersecurity service offerings, and provide trainings to C-level management.
As a Sales Specialist, you will participate in developing sales strategies, manage client relationships, drive sales growth, assist in writing offers (technical and non-technical), address complex technical cyber requirements, and ensure customers have a clear understanding of the value our solutions bring to their operations. You will also bring your deep cybersecurity expertise to strengthen and support the Engineering teams in their deliveries, the execution of the projects, and the development of our product/service and solutions portfolio.
This position will be based at our Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Transinne, a village in the Belgian municipality of Libin.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Actively apply your expertise and cybersecurity excellence in the project developments, customer deliveries and in the building and execution of the cybersecurity offering’s roadmaps.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and design tailored solutions that align with their cybersecurity requirements.
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and functionality of our products and services.
- Develop customized proposals, responding to RFPs/RFIs with comprehensive technical details.
- Continuously engage with sector representatives to understand their unique challenges and position our cybersecurity solutions to meet the sector-specific needs.
- Build trust with prospective clients by serving as the technical expert in all interactions
- Remain up to date with trends in the sector to ensure solutions align with the latest market needs, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- Act as a trusted advisor during all business development/sales steps, ensuring customers feel confident about the technical and business value of the solutions offered.
- Maintain a proactive approach to customer needs, anticipating and addressing potential challenges.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Delivery teams to design, implement, and continually improve security services, components, and procedures in line with the market needs.
- Share knowledge, train, and support the internal engineering and sales team on technical concepts, product functionalities, and competitive differentiators.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- University Degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
- At least 5 years proven experience in Cybersecurity offering and service delivery, with a track record of leading teams and managing complex security initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of the full lifecycle and value chain of cybersecurity, and the broader Risk and Compliance domains (ISO27001, NIS2).
- Proven ability to conceptualize and develop security solutions tailored to the needs of critical infrastructure clients.
- Experience in services and solution selling with excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions and work effectively within diverse, global teams.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international, multicultural environment.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with a customer-focused communication skill.
- Excellent written communication and at ease in giving presentations.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is an asset.
