Join us as Cyber Range Scenario Tech Lead. This position will be based at our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Transinne, a village in the Belgian municipality of Libin.
This role revolves around working on our propriety Cyber Range tools and combines technical expertise in cyber security, simulation environments, and red/blue teaming with leadership of a multidisciplinary scenario development team. As the Team Lead, you will ensure the continuous evolution of the cyber range, creating cutting-edge training content that supports clients in government, critical infrastructure, defense, and enterprise sectors.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Designing and implementing realistic cyber range scenarios simulating advanced scenarios across sectors and landscapes (critical infrastructure, OT, cybersecurity, banking, space, etc).
- Ensuring scenarios are modular, scalable, and reusable across different environments and clients.
- Overseeing the deployment of scenarios within our propriety Cyber Range solution.
- Leading and mentoring the Scenario Development Team.
- Coordinating the full scenario lifecycle: ideation, design, development, validation, deployment, and post-exercise review.
- Establishing best practices, processes, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms for efficient scenario development.
- Fostering innovation and ensure the team stays ahead of emerging cyber threats and technologies.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- University Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in red team or blue team roles.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting, with a basic knowledge of Docker and Ansible.
- Offensive Security: penetration testing, web application exploitation, red-team labs.
- Defensive Security: SIEM, EDR, memory forensics, SOC operations.
- OT Protocols & Embedded Security.
- Certifications (at least two of them): OSCP, PNPT, OSEP, CWEE, BTL 1/2, CDSA.
- CTF participation and/or design experience.
- Minimum HackTheBox level: Pro Hacker.
- Experience with lab QA and walkthrough authoring.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
