Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
Product Strategy & Market Positioning
- Defining and articulating CITEF’s product strategy and positioning, including value proposition, target segments, buyer personas, priority sectors, and competitive differentiation.
- Monitoring markets and competitors to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities across new use cases, sectors, and geographies, and translate insights into strategic focus.
- Translating strategy into medium‑term product objectives (12–36 months) with measurable outcomes and prepare decision notes for the Managing Director on major investments (modules, integrations, infrastructure).
Roadmap Ownership & Portfolio Governance
- Owning and governing the CITEF roadmap across functional, technical, and content dimensions, running a structured intake and prioritisation process that balances market demand, strategic fit, delivery feasibility, and impact on reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Ensuring roadmap alignment and transparency, coordinating with the Technology & Innovation Director and Operations prior to commitment, maintaining a clear roadmap view for internal stakeholders, and managing a decision log for changes, trade-offs, and de-scoping decisions.
Product Lifecycle & Delivery Management
- Owning the end-to-end CITEF product lifecycle, supported by clear product artefacts, and lead backlog, planning, and prioritisation with Scenario, Software, and Infrastructure teams to ensure aligned scope, quality, and delivery readiness.
- Coordinating beta tests, pilots, and early deployments, capturing feedback to inform the roadmap and ensuring complete, up-to-date user, admin, and deployment documentation.
Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Leading and managing the CITEF delivery teams (Scenario Development, Software Development, and Infrastructure, including external contributors), setting objectives and priorities aligned with the roadmap, operating constraints, and secure, compliant working practices.
- Overseeing people and capacity management, including capacity planning with senior leadership, resolving delivery trade-offs, running regular 1:1s and performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Enablement
- Driving CITEF go‑to‑market execution, including launches, messaging, and core sales enablement materials.
- Supporting key commercial opportunities, ensuring bids, demos, and client engagements align with the roadmap, platform capabilities, and delivery capacity.
Client Deployment, Adoption & Satisfaction
- Defining and coordinating CITEF deployments models and checklists.
- Tracking adoption and deployment outcomes, resolving issues quickly and feeding lessons learned back into the roadmap and operations.
Partner Management & Global Distribution
- Building and managing the CITEF partner ecosystem, defining tiers, enablement, and performance expectations.
- Enabling and growing partners, through training, demos, clear commercial guidelines, performance reviews, and joint go‑to‑market activities.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- University Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Ability to define a product strategy balancing market needs, strategy, and operational constraints, with a focus on scalable, repeatable offerings.
- Proven experience translating end‑user, client, and partner needs into pragmatic product decisions through regular stakeholder engagement.
- Plans and delivers work with clear priorities, risk visibility, and a track record of meeting realistic client and partner commitments.
- Provides clear direction to delivery teams and drives transparent cross‑functional collaboration, managing trade‑offs effectively.
- Technical understanding of cyber‑range and simulation platforms, with a business‑driven mindset.
- Clearly communicates decisions, escalates risks early, and drives continuous improvement across CITEF delivery and go‑to‑market.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
