Working with external providers to ensure compliance
Our approach to supply chain compliance at Nexova is adaptable by design and driven by three fundamental beliefs:
- Compliance applies to all of us – we all have a vested interest in achieving and maintaining compliance
- Compliance cannot be ‘one size fits all’ – every business is different and how each one embeds compliance into its operations and structures reflects that
- Your business is your business – how you run it is for you to define and shape, not for us to mandate
Our External Provider Standards are the bedrock of our compliance relationship with you. They are purposefully designed to do two things: (i) identify key compliance themes and operating standards relevant to both our business and yours; and (ii) promote open and transparent dialogue about how those themes and obligations are met and managed practically within your business and through our commercial relationship. Through this approach, we are able to jointly define a compliance approach base-lined against your own established measures and procedures and supplemented to meet specific identified operational requirements.
“The compliance landscape is constantly adapting to meet emerging opportunities and threats; businesses have to carefully address both their own compliance and that of their supply chains. We pride ourselves on working with external providers who consciously embed compliance into their business, from their supporting structures to their everyday ways of working, and trust them to know and do the right things. Trust sits at the heart of these standards.” Chris Greig-Bonnier, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer
