We are looking for the right candidate to take on the local security activities of the Group. This is an on-site role based at our newly built office in Libin, Belgium.
This is a role that will require daily presence at our office. and with a maximum call out time of 30minutes to the office when needed or on-call.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Developing, maintaining and implementing all the security documentation required in collaboration with Operations Director.
- Designing, implementing and controlling the access rights (badge and biometric systems) for all staff and visitors, including across different security zones.
- Implementing and exercising the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and all related activities including facility clearance, asset management, inspections and monitoring.
- Maintaining the accreditation files for the physical and CIS environment.
- Acting as Deputy to the CISO for all communication and relationship with the NSA.
- Participating in the ISO27001 and NIS2 implementation.
- Developing relationships with cybersecurity-related authorities and communities
- Monitoring the handling and control of Classified documents and media.
- Performing security tasks related to the building and its assets.
- Participation in Cyber security risk assessment activities.
- Assisting and participating in the configuration of the Classified CIS as well as maintaining the registry of the Classified Assets.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- You come from a military or defense background, already performing similar tasks.
- Proven experience with corporate security procedures, policies, and execution.
- Professional background in security aspects of Communication Information Systems (CIS).
- Expertise in handling classified material within a national or international environment.
- Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures, including IT.
- Experience in writing technical documentation such as policy, procedure and guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of ISO27001 and aware of the NIS2 directive.
- Available for on-call support 24/7.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Ability to work on site in our office and capacity to be available for any emergency or security incidents.
- You agree to be subject to a Personal Security Clearance (a process which will be taken up by the company upon joining)
- Good command of both English and French both written and spoken.
