Cyberwal in Galaxia Academy is where Europe’s cybersecurity community comes together to help define what comes next in the cybersecurity world.
Each year in Wallonia, Belgium, the Academy brings together researchers, cybersecurity experts, technology leaders, public decision-makers and defence stakeholders from across Europe to challenge ideas, build partnerships and turn discussion into action. Its fifth edition includes a sharper focus on real-world case studies, strategic workshops and direct dialogue between the people shaping the field.
Nexova is one of the organisers of the Cyberwal in Galaxia Space day on 8 December. Discussions during Space day will tackle the shift in priority that has seen cybersecurity become an integral part of the space domain and the challenges this brings. Among the speakers will be Matteo Merialdo, Nexova’s Chief Technical Officer, and Patrick Renaux, Senior Cybersecurity Architect at one of Nexova’s sister companies, Starion Luxembourg, which is also part of Sopra Steria.
- 10:00-10:45 – Matteo takes part in a panel debate: “Is Europe capable of responding to cyberattacks in space?“
- 15:00-16:15 – Patrick presents the INT-UQKD project during a session on “INT-UQKD, Eagle-One & QKD Sat: Space demonstrators of quantum technologies and illustration of their interest”
- 16:15-16:30 – Matteo deliver a wrap-up of the day’s discussions.
